Password Reset
DOE staff can reset their own passwords at the DOE Password and Profile Management Portal
- Your user ID is your DOE email address.
- If you don't know your password, click Forgot Password below the sign in fields. You will be prompted to create a new password.
This means you do not need to call the Help Desk, you can self serve and get into your email and DOE systems.
Answer Security Questions
- Go to the DOE self-service portal
- Enter your username.
- Select Security Questions from the drop-down menu.
- Verify the CAPTCHA.
- Click Reset Password.
- Answer your security questions.
- Reset your password.
- Click Submit.
If you have not set up your security questions, this option will not work. Please use one of the other two options. (Once you’ve regained access to your account, please set up your security questions. It will add extra security to your account and make it easier for you to reset your password in the future.)
Verify Personal Information
- Go to the DOE self-service portal
- Enter your username.
- Select Personal Details from the drop-down menu.
- Verify the CAPTCHA.
- Click Reset Password.
- Enter your last name, employee ID number, and date of birth.
- Click next.
- Reset your password.
- Click Submit.
Send Email to Secondary Address
- Go to the DOE self-service portal
- Enter your username.
- Select Personal Email from the drop-down menu.
- Verify the CAPTCHA.
- An email will be sent to the alternate email associated with your DOE account.
- Check your email.
- Follow the link in the email to reset your password.
